About Hot Wire Bass
I am Bert Gerecht, dedicated bass fanatic! That´s why I sell Hot Wire Basses and East Electronics. My shop and showroom are located in Germany, 55592 Desloch.
I started playing bass in 1967 and opened my first bass shop „Mr. Bassman“ way back in 1980, building Mr. Bassman basses and doing services. I created my first online shop in 1997.
Today I am responsible for the Hot Wire Bass design, the manufacturing, the promotion and the customer service.
People on my team include Rudi Zieseman who does the bulk woodwork and bass building, Chris Dolf who designs and winds our custom pickups, John East who creates the lovely „Retro“ electronics we use on most of our basses and also sell and distribute.

Ich bin Bert Gerecht, ein Bass-Wahnsinniger der ersten Stunde! Deshalb verkaufe ich Hot Wire Bässe und East Elektroniken. Mein Laden und Showroom befinden sich in D-55592 Desloch.
Ich wurde Bassist in 1967 und gründete den ersten Bassladen "Mr. Bassman" in FFM in 1980. Mein erster Online-Shop ging 1997 ans Netz.
In meinem Team sind Rüdi Ziesemann für die Bass-Herstellung, Chris Dolf wickelt unsere Custom Tonabnehmer, und John East fertigt die wunderbaren Retro Klangregelungen, die wir auch bereits seit 2003 einbauen und einzeln vertreiben.
